Eric Michaels

Eric Michaels Architect, AIA was established in 1993. Ten years later, Michaels partnered with Ranney Design to form Ranney Michaels. Wanting to expand his architectural firm to offer full construction services, Michaels studied Design-Build at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. One year later, the Connecticut AIA requested Michaels as a guest lecturer, speaking on Architect-Led Design-Build.

Michaels holds numerous licenses and memberships including, Registered Architect in the states of CT and NY, Registered Home Improvement Contractor in CT, member of the American Institute of Architects, Connecticut Society of Architects, National Association of Home Builders, Design Build institute of CT, the United States Green Building Council and is LEED Certified.

Eric Michaels earned his Bachelor of Architecture Degree from the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, New York. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and was admitted to the Nu Ypsilon Tau Honor Society. Upon graduation, he joined his father's firm, Lawrence Michaels Architect in Westport, CT.

Prior to attending the NYIT, Eric received a Bachelor of Music in Studio Music and Jazz Performance from the University of Miami, Florida. Eric resides with his family in Fairfield, Connecticut.
