Sharon Ranney studied Design at Mount Mary College, in Wisconsin. After moving to the East Coast in 1989, she established Ranney Design. Her firm was recognized for creating distinctive and elegant work including both Commercial and Residential projects. Sharon oversaw and directed all aspects of the firm. Her work has been featured in several prestigious publications including Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Connecticut Magazine, The New York Times as well as numerous local newspapers.
Ranney Design merged with Eric Michaels Architect, AIA in 2003 to form Ranney Michaels. Being involved with all aspects of Design and the Construction process, Ranney furthered her education in Design/Build at Harvard University Graduate
School of Design.
Sharon resides with her family in Fairfield, Connecticut.
